Make it stand out.

 A wedding for Robyn and Simon, two long term friends of mine. And their dog Grizzly (name not actually accurate).

A wonderfully festive day in a brilliant venue with everyone dressed to a maritime theme. The bride had on a French Empire gown with a model frigate in her coiled wig; the husband dressed as an eighteenth-century naval officer.

I was Captain Stubing from The Love Boat. Au naturel.

Once the theme was set, it came together remarkably well with trips to the costumer (hello, Rose Chong!) and the staff at the Mission to Seafarers covering any need efficiently and with great humour.
